Oak Park sits right at the Ventura County line off the 101, tucked between Agoura Hills and Thousand Oaks. It’s a planned community with a mix of single-family homes, townhomes, and HOA-governed developments running along Kanan Road and Lindero Canyon. The terrain has its quirks. Plenty of homes back up to open space or sit on sloped lots, which affects where a bin can safely go. Most of the work we see here is residential: kitchen and bath remodels, garage and storage cleanouts, yard overhauls, and the occasional roof tear-off. Because so much of Oak Park falls under HOA jurisdiction, advance planning matters more here than in some neighboring areas. We’ll work around your delivery window and placement rules so you’re not scrambling the morning the bin shows up.

Standard rental is 8 days from the day we drop it off. That covers most residential projects without anyone feeling rushed. If you need more time, just let us know at least 2 business days before your scheduled pickup and we’ll get the extension on the books. Last-minute extensions are harder to guarantee.

No hazardous materials: wet paint, solvents, oils, batteries, tires, or refrigerators that still have freon. Dried, hardened paint is fine. Only liquid paint is the issue. Electronics sometimes have special handling rules, so ask first. Regular household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and remodel materials are all good to go.

If the bin sits on your driveway or private property in 91377, no permit needed. If it has to go on a public street, the City of Oak Park public works department issues the permit. The homeowner or contractor pulls it directly. We can’t pull it for you, but we’ll coordinate placement once you have it.

Most Oak Park HOAs require advance notice and a written placement plan before a bin shows up. Once you book with us, we’ll give you the delivery window, bin size, and footprint dimensions so you have what the HOA needs. Get the approval squared away before booking to avoid a rescheduling fee.

In most cases, no. We place heavy-duty protection pads under the bin when the driveway layout allows it. The pads prevent staining, scratching, and pressure cracks on concrete, pavers, and stamped surfaces. Tight access, steep slopes, or step-down approaches can make pads impractical. If yours is one of those, dispatch will tell you when you book.
