No hazardous materials. That means no wet paint, solvents, oils, batteries, tires, or refrigerators with freon still in them. Dried hardened paint is fine, only the liquid stuff is a problem. Electronics sometimes need special handling. Household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and remodel materials are all good to go.

If the bin sits on your driveway or private property, no permit needed. If it has to go on a public street in 93063, the City of Simi Valley public works department issues the permit, and either the homeowner or your contractor pulls it. We can point you in the right direction if you’ve never done it before.
