Ventura Dumpster Rental

Ventura is a different kind of job site than most of LA. You’ve got the older Craftsman and bungalow neighborhoods around Downtown and the Avenue, the hillside homes off Foothill Road, and the newer tract developments out toward East Ventura and Saticoy. We see a steady mix of kitchen and bath remodels in the historic homes near Main Street, roof tear-offs in the older neighborhoods, and full property cleanouts after the wind events that roll through every winter. Beach-adjacent jobs near Pierpont and the Ventura Keys need a little extra planning because of the narrow streets and tight setbacks. Most of our drops here land on private driveways, so permits usually aren’t an issue. The terrain is friendlier than the Valley canyons, but coastal salt air means we ask folks to keep loads tarped if a bin sits more than a couple days.

Standard rental in Ventura is 8 days from the day we drop it off. If you need more time, just give us a heads up at least 2 business days before your scheduled pickup and we’ll extend it. The earlier you let us know, the easier it is to keep your project on track without rush fees.

No wet or liquid paint, solvents, oils, batteries, tires, or refrigerators with freon. Dried, hardened paint in a can is fine, it’s only the liquid stuff that’s a problem. Electronics may need special handling, so ask first. Household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and remodel materials are all good to go.

If the bin sits on your driveway or private property in 93001, no permit needed. If it has to go on a public street, the City of Ventura public works department issues the permit. The homeowner or contractor pulls it, and it usually only takes a day or two to get approved.

Standard residential bins don’t need coastal commission permits, even close to the beach. Street placement still requires the regular city permit. If you’re working right on the beach side near Pierpont or the Keys, just give us a little extra notice so we can plan the access and pick the right delivery window.

In Ventura we place heavy-duty rubber pads under the bin whenever the driveway layout allows. They prevent staining, scratching, and pressure cracks on concrete, pavers, and stamped surfaces. Tight access, sloped driveways, or step-down approaches can make pads impractical, and dispatch will tell you upfront when we schedule.
