No hazardous materials: wet paint, solvents, oils, batteries, tires, or refrigerators with freon still in them. Dried, hardened paint is fine, it’s only liquid paint that’s a problem. Electronics may have special handling rules. Everything else, household junk, construction debris, yard waste, remodel materials, goes in without issue.

If the bin sits on your driveway or private property, no permit needed. If it has to go on a public street in 91403, you’ll need an LADOT street-use permit. Either the homeowner or the contractor can pull it. We can point you in the right direction if you’ve never done it before.
