Electronics sometimes have special handling rules, so ask first. Regular household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and remodel materials are all good to go.

If the bin sits on your driveway or private property inside the gates, no permit is needed. If it has to go on a public street in 91436, you’ll need an LADOT street-use permit. The homeowner or the contractor can pull it. Inside the gated community itself, the bigger concern is usually HOA approval, not a city permit.
