Venice runs from the canals up to Rose Avenue and east toward the 405, and the project mix here is unlike anywhere else in LA. We drop bins for canal-side remodels where access is tight and the truck has to thread narrow walk-streets, for craftsman renovations off Abbot Kinney, and for full guts on the bigger lots near Penmar. Plenty of garage conversions and ADU builds too. A lot of Venice homes sit on small lots with shared driveways or no driveway at all, so placement gets creative. If the bin has to sit on a public street like Pacific or Lincoln, you’ll need an LADOT permit. We’ve been doing this long enough to know which blocks work and which need a street drop.

Our standard rental period in Venice is 8 days from the day we drop it off. That covers most remodels and cleanouts comfortably. If you need more time, just let us know at least 2 business days before your scheduled pickup and we’ll extend it. Easy to arrange, just don’t wait until pickup morning.

No hazardous materials in any bin: wet paint, solvents, oils, batteries, tires, or refrigerators with freon. Dried hardened paint in the can is fine, it’s the liquid stuff that’s the problem. Electronics may have special handling rules, so ask first. Regular household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and remodel materials are all good to go.

If the bin sits on your driveway or private property, no permit needed. If it has to go on a public street anywhere in 90291, you’ll need an LADOT street-use permit. The homeowner or contractor pulls that one directly with the city. We can point you to the right form if it’s your first time.

Absolutely. Call us when your bin is full and we’ll schedule a pickup-and-replace, usually same-day or next-day depending on timing. We do this all the time on roofing tear-offs, gut renovations, and multi-day cleanouts where one bin just isn’t enough. Keeps your project moving without sitting on a full load.
