Playa Vista Dumpster Rental

Playa Vista is one of the more unique service areas we cover. It’s a newer, master-planned community tucked between Marina del Rey and Westchester, with a heavy mix of modern condos, townhomes, and creative-office buildings along Jefferson and Playa Vista Drive. The Runway shopping center pulls a lot of foot traffic, and the residential blocks behind it tend to have tight garage access and shared alleys. Most of our jobs here are condo remodels, kitchen and bath renovations, and tenant build-outs on the office side. Because so much of Playa Vista is HOA-managed, drop locations need a little extra planning. We work with property managers regularly and can usually find a spot that keeps the bin out of the way of neighbors and guest parking.

Standard rental is 8 days from the day we drop it off. That works for most remodels and cleanouts. If you need more time, just let us know at least 2 business days before your scheduled pickup and we’ll extend it. The earlier you call, the easier it is to keep your spot on the schedule.

No hazardous stuff: wet paint, solvents, oils, batteries, tires, or fridges with freon still in them. Dried, hardened paint is fine. Only liquid paint is the issue. Electronics sometimes need special handling, so ask first. Household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and remodel materials all go in with no problem.

If the bin sits on your driveway or private property, no permit needed. If it has to go on a public street in 90094, you’ll need an LADOT street-use permit. The homeowner or contractor pulls it. It’s a quick online process. Let us know where the bin’s going and we’ll point you in the right direction.

For standard residential bins, no. You don’t need a coastal commission permit or anything like that. Street placement still requires the regular LADOT permit. If your job is right on the beach side with tight access, give us a heads up when you book so we can plan the drop and pickup around it.

Absolutely. Call anytime during your rental and we’ll get a pickup routed, usually within 1-2 business days. No fee for finishing early. Heads up that we don’t run trucks on Sundays, so if your last day lands on a Sunday the bin gets picked up Monday morning instead.
