Val Verde sits tucked into the hills northwest of Santa Clarita, just off the 5 near Castaic Lake. It’s a different kind of job from our denser Valley routes. Lots are bigger, driveways are longer, and a fair share of properties back up to open land or sit on unpaved roads. We see a steady mix of work out here: rural property cleanouts, ADU and garage builds, septic and well projects, brush clearance hauls after fire season, and the occasional teardown on an older hillside parcel. Because Val Verde is unincorporated LA County, anything going on a public road falls under LA County Public Works, not a city department. Most of our drops land on private dirt or gravel, which keeps things simple.

Standard rental runs 8 days from the day we drop it off. If you need more time, just call us at least 2 business days before your scheduled pickup and we’ll extend it. The earlier you let us know the better, since it helps us juggle the route, but two business days is the firm minimum.

No wet or liquid paint, solvents, oils, batteries, tires, or refrigerators with freon still in them. Dried, hardened paint is fine, it’s only the liquid stuff that’s a problem. Electronics may need special handling, so ask first. Regular household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and remodel materials all go in without issue.

If the bin sits on your driveway or anywhere on private property in 91384, no permit needed. If it has to go on a public road, that’s LA County Public Works territory and you’ll need an encroachment permit from them. We can point you to the right form and tell you what info they’ll ask for.
