Acton sits up in the high desert along the 14 Freeway, between Santa Clarita and Palmdale, and the projects we handle out here look different than what we see down in the Valley. Most of our Acton customers are on larger lots, often acreage, with detached garages, workshops, barns, and plenty of room for a roll-off on the property. We see a lot of horse property cleanouts, remodel projects on older ranch-style homes, and yard debris hauls after high-wind events come through Soledad Canyon. Because so many driveways out here are long and gravel or dirt, placement is usually easy and rarely requires a street permit. The trade-off is the haul distance from our yard, so we ask Acton customers to book a day ahead when possible.

Standard rental period is 8 days from the day we drop it off. That’s enough time for most remodels and cleanouts. If you need more time, just give us a call at least 2 business days before your scheduled pickup and we’ll extend it. Easy to arrange as long as you let us know in advance.

No hazardous materials: paint, solvents, oils, batteries, tires, or refrigerators with freon. Dried, hardened paint is fine, it’s only liquid paint that’s a problem. Electronics may need special handling, so ask first. Regular household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and remodel materials are all good to go.

If the bin sits on your driveway or anywhere on private property in 93510, no permit needed. If it has to go on a public street or right-of-way, LA County Public Works issues the encroachment permit for unincorporated Acton. We can point you to the right form and tell you what they’ll want to see.

Absolutely. Call us when your bin’s full and we’ll schedule a pickup-and-replace, usually same-day or next-day depending on timing. We do this all the time on roofing tear-offs, gut renovations, and multi-day cleanouts where one bin isn’t enough to finish the job.

Every size has a weight allowance built into the flat rate, and we tell you what that allowance is when you book so there are no surprises. If you go over, we charge a per-ton overage at whatever the dump charges us that day. No markup games, just the actual rate.
