Newhall is one of the oldest communities in the Santa Clarita Valley, and the housing mix shows it. You’ve got older single-family homes around Old Town Newhall and Lyons Avenue, newer tract neighborhoods up toward Placerita Canyon, and a steady stream of remodels on properties that were built in the 60s and 70s. Most of our Newhall jobs are kitchen and bath renovations, garage cleanouts, and yard cleanups after the dry season. Access is generally easy with standard suburban driveways, though some of the hillside streets off Sierra Highway get narrow. Standard rental is 8 days from the day we drop it off. If you need more time, just give us a heads-up at least 2 business days before your scheduled pickup and we’ll extend it. We try to stay flexible, but that 2-day notice helps us keep the route running smoothly for everyone.

No hazardous materials: wet paint, solvents, oils, batteries, tires, or refrigerators with freon still in them. Dried, hardened paint is fine, it’s only liquid paint that’s a problem. Electronics sometimes need special handling, so ask first. Household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and remodel materials are all good to go.

If the bin sits on your driveway or private property, no permit needed. If it has to go on a public street in 91321, you’ll need a permit from the City of Santa Clarita public works department since Newhall falls under their jurisdiction. The homeowner or contractor pulls it, and it’s a pretty straightforward process.

Small bath or closet cleanout, go with a 3-yard. Garage cleanout or single-room reno, a 9 or 10-yard. Full kitchen or bath gut calls for a 16-yard. Whole-house cleanout is a 25-yard, and we offer a tall high-side for stacking bulky items or a long low version for walk-in loading at the same price. Big demo or construction, 40-yard.
