University Park Dumpster Rental

University Park sits just south of Downtown LA, wrapped around the USC campus and bordered by the 110 freeknown for its mix of historic West Adams-style craftsman homes, student rentals, and small apartment buildings. We see a steady mix of projects here: landlords turning over student housing between semesters, owners restoring older homes near Hoover and Vermont, and contractors handling kitchen and bath remodels on the residential side streets. Access can be tight on the narrower lots near campus, and many properties have short driveways or shared alleys. Our standard rental period is 8 days from the day we drop the bin. If you need more time, just give us a heads up at least 2 business days before your scheduled pickup and we’ll extend it. The earlier you let us know, the easier it is to keep your schedule on track.

No hazardous materials: paint, solvents, oils, batteries, tires, or refrigerators with freon. Dried, hardened paint is fine, it’s only wet or liquid paint that’s a problem. Electronics may have special handling rules. Household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and remodel materials are all good to go.

If the bin sits on your driveway or private property, no permit needed. If it has to go on a public street in 90007, you’ll need an LADOT street-use permit. The homeowner or contractor pulls it, and we’re happy to point you in the right direction if it’s your first time.

In University Park we place heavy-duty protection pads under the bin whenever the driveway layout allows. Tight access, sloped driveways, or step-down approaches can sometimes make pads impractical, and dispatch will flag that at scheduling. When we can use them, pads protect against staining, scratching, and pressure cracks on concrete, pavers, and stamped surfaces.

We can usually squeeze a 3 yard or 9 yard bin into tight driveways near campus. If access is really tight, we can stage and shuttle the bin instead. Snap a quick photo of your driveway and text it over, and we’ll tell you exactly what fits before you book.
