No hazardous materials: wet paint, solvents, oils, batteries, tires, or refrigerators still holding freon. Dried, hardened paint is fine. Only liquid paint is the issue. Electronics sometimes need special handling, so ask first. Regular household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and remodel materials are all welcome in any bin.

If the bin sits on your driveway or private property, no permit needed. If it has to go on a public street in 90004, you’ll need an LADOT street-use permit. Either the homeowner or your contractor can pull it. It’s a straightforward process, and we can point you in the right direction if it’s your first time.

Yes, mixing regular trash with construction debris in one bin is totally fine. The one exception is clean inert loads, meaning only concrete, dirt, or asphalt. Those need a separate clean-inert bin to keep your dump rates low. If you’re unsure what counts, give us a call before you start loading.
