A lot of properties off Foothill Boulevard and the streets climbing toward the wilderness areas have long driveways, sloped approaches, or older detached garages that need cleaning out. We see a steady mix of garage and yard cleanouts, ADU builds, roofing tear-offs, and the occasional fire-hardening or brush-clearance project closer to the hills. Closer to the 210 and down through the flats, it’s more standard residential remodels and tenant turnovers. Tujunga is part of the City of LA, so anything going on a public street in 91042 needs an LADOT permit. Driveway drops don’t.

Standard rental is 8 days from the day we drop it off. If you need more time, just give us a heads up at least 2 business days before your scheduled pickup and we’ll extend it. Last-minute extensions get tricky because the bin may already be routed for another job.

No hazardous stuff: wet paint, solvents, oils, batteries, tires, or refrigerators with freon still in them. Dried, hardened paint in the can is fine, it’s only liquid paint that’s a problem. Electronics may need special handling, so ask first. Household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and remodel materials are all good to go.

If the bin sits on your driveway or private property, no permit needed. If it has to go on a public street in 91042, you’ll need an LADOT street-use permit since Tujunga is part of the City of LA. The homeowner or contractor pulls that one directly. We can walk you through what’s needed.

Yes, we work the hillside streets all the time. Just tell us the address when you book so we can pre-check the approach on satellite. For tight turns, narrow shoulders, or steep driveways we’ll often recommend a 3-yard or 9-yard instead of something bigger. Better to size down than get stuck.

Yes, no problem. We drop on dirt, gravel, grass, and other unpaved surfaces regularly. Just mention the surface when you book so the driver plans the approach and brings what he needs. New construction lots and rural-style properties up in the Tujunga foothills are routine work for us.
