Silver Lake is one of the more unique pockets we serve in LA. You’ve got the reservoir at the center, the hillside streets climbing up toward Sunset Junction, and a mix of vintage Spanish bungalows, mid-century homes, and modernist remodels tucked into the slopes. A lot of our work here is renovation debris from people updating older homes, kitchen and bath gut jobs, and the occasional garage cleanout. The terrain matters. Narrow streets off Silver Lake Boulevard, tight hillside driveways near the reservoir, and limited curb space mean we plan placement carefully. Silver Lake falls under LADOT jurisdiction for street placement permits, so if your bin needs to sit on the public right of way, that’s the permit you’ll be pulling.

Our standard rental is 8 days from the day we drop it off. That covers most projects without rushing. If you need more time, just let us know at least 2 business days before your scheduled pickup and we’ll extend it. Waiting until pickup day to ask makes it harder for us to reschedule the route.

No hazardous materials: paint, solvents, oils, batteries, tires, or refrigerators with freon. Dried, hardened paint is fine. It’s the wet liquid stuff we can’t take. Electronics may need special handling, so ask first. Household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and remodel materials all go in without issue.

If the bin sits on your driveway or private property, no permit needed. If it has to go on a public street in 90026, you’ll need an LADOT street-use permit. Either the homeowner or the contractor can pull it. We can point you to the right application if you’re not sure where to start.

Yes, we run hillside deliveries regularly. Just tell us the street when you book so we can pre-check the approach on our end. For tight switchbacks, narrow shoulders, or steep driveways, we’ll often recommend a 3 yard or 9 yard to keep the drop safe and clean.
