Shadow Hills Dumpster Rental

Shadow Hills sits in the northeast corner of the San Fernando Valley with a character all its own. Large lots, horse properties, and semi-rural streets tucked up against the foothills. The neighborhood spans both sides of the 210 freeway near Sunland and La Tuna Canyon, and most homes here have long driveways, gravel access roads, or hillside approaches that we have to plan around. A lot of our work in 91040 is property cleanouts, barn and shed teardowns, brush clearance hauls (especially before fire season), and remodels on the older ranch-style homes. Because Shadow Hills falls under City of LA jurisdiction, street placement requires an LADOT permit, but the majority of our drops here go right on the driveway or graded pad, no permit needed.

Our standard rental period is 8 days from the day we drop it off. That covers most projects with room to spare. If you need more time, just give us a heads up at least 2 business days before your scheduled pickup and we’ll extend it. Easy to arrange, just don’t wait until the last minute.

No hazardous materials: wet paint, solvents, oils, batteries, tires, or fridges with freon still in them. Dried, hardened paint is fine, it’s only liquid paint that’s a problem. Electronics may need special handling, so ask first. Regular household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and remodel materials are all good to go.

If the bin sits on your driveway or private property, no permit needed. If it has to go on a public street in 91040, you’ll need an LADOT street-use permit. Either the homeowner or your contractor can pull it. We can point you in the right direction if you’ve never done it before.

We can usually squeeze a 3-yard or 9-yard bin into tight driveways without a problem. If access is really tight, we can stage the bin and shuttle loads for you. Best move: text us a quick photo of your driveway and the approach, and we’ll tell you exactly what fits.

Yes, we deliver throughout the Shadow Hills hillsides regularly. Just let us know the street when you book so dispatch can pre-check the approach on the map. For tight turns, narrow shoulders, or steep driveways, we’ll often recommend a 3-yard or 9-yard bin to keep things safe and clean.
