The Griffith Park area sits at the eastern edge of the Hollywood Hills, where Los Feliz meets the park’s southern boundary along Los Feliz Boulevard. The homes here range from Spanish-style bungalows on the flats to hillside properties tucked into winding streets above the Greek Theatre and the Observatory. Most of our work in this pocket is residential. Think kitchen and bath remodels in the older Los Feliz craftsmans, garage cleanouts in long-held family homes, and the occasional landscape overhaul on a hillside lot. Access can be the trickiest part. Some of the streets near Vermont Canyon and Fern Dell get narrow fast, and driveway angles vary a lot. We pre-check approaches before delivery so the truck doesn’t show up to a street it can’t work.

Standard rental is 8 days from the day we drop it off. That covers most projects without anyone feeling rushed. If you need more time, just give us a heads-up at least 2 business days before your scheduled pickup and we’ll extend it. Easy.

No hazardous stuff: wet paint, solvents, motor oil, batteries, tires, or refrigerators with freon still in them. Dried, hardened paint is fine, it’s only liquid paint that’s a problem. Electronics sometimes need special handling, so ask first. Household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and remodel materials are all good to go.

If the bin sits on your driveway or private property, no permit needed. If it has to go on a public street in 90027, you’ll need an LADOT street-use permit. The homeowner or your contractor pulls it directly from the city. We can point you in the right direction if you’ve never done it before.

We work with tight driveways all the time. A 3-yard or 9-yard bin usually slides into spots a bigger truck-bin combo can’t reach. If access is really tight, we can stage the bin and shuttle debris from the curb. Snap a quick photo of your driveway and text it over, we’ll tell you what fits.

Yes, we run those hillside streets regularly. Just tell us the exact street when you book so dispatch can pre-check the approach. For tight turns, narrow shoulders, or steep driveways, we’ll often suggest a 3-yard or 9-yard over something bigger. Better to size down than have the truck show up and not fit.
