No hazardous materials: paint, solvents, oils, batteries, tires, or refrigerators with freon still in them. Dried hardened paint is fine. It’s only wet or liquid paint that’s a problem. Electronics sometimes have special handling rules. Household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and remodel materials are all good to go.

If the bin sits on your driveway or private property in 91011, no permit needed. If it has to go on a public street, the City of La Cañada Flintridge public works department issues the permit. Either the homeowner or the contractor pulls it before we drop.

We can usually squeeze a 3 yard or 9 yard bin into tight Flintridge driveways without a problem. If access is really tight, we can stage the bin and shuttle loads for you. Easiest thing is to text us a quick photo of your driveway and we’ll tell you exactly what fits.

We place heavy-duty protection pads under the bin when the driveway layout allows. Tight access, sloped driveways, or step-down approaches can make pads impractical, and dispatch will let you know at scheduling if yours is one of those cases. The pads prevent staining, scratching, and pressure cracks on concrete, pavers, and stamped surfaces.
