No hazardous materials: paint, solvents, oils, batteries, tires, or refrigerators with freon. Dried, hardened paint is fine. It’s only wet or liquid paint that’s the issue. Electronics may need special handling, so ask first. Regular household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and remodel materials are all good to go.

If the bin sits on your driveway or private property, no permit is needed. If it has to go on a public street in 91331, you’ll need an LADOT street-use permit. The homeowner or contractor pulls it directly with the city. We can point you in the right direction if it’s your first time.

Yes, mixing regular trash with construction debris is totally fine in one bin. The one exception is clean inert loads, meaning concrete, dirt, or asphalt only. Those need a separate clean-inert bin so dump rates stay low. If you’re not sure which category your load falls into, just ask.
